With a passion for hair that began with his sister’s Barbie’s, Michael Solis has secured his rank as one of L.A’s most sought after hair dressers.
A Los Angeles native, Solis’s path to the top began with an early entrance to cosmetology school at the young age of 16. Straight out of beauty school he found himself working at Prive and later Estilo, two of L.A.’s chicest salons both cutting and applying color to many of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
A freelance career in print and film was born soon after. A switch to the Jonathan Salon brought him worldwide recognition when owner Jonathan Antin secured a reality show deal with the Bravo network. Three years on the hit Bravo show helped him establish countless relationships in the entertainment industry.
As key stylist to The Pussycat Dolls, Michael’s signature style has appeared everywhere, from Dancing with the Stars, to the Grammy’s stage and countless red carpets. His positive attitude and appreciation for the job is evident as his celebrity following continues to thrive.
